Let's Get Started

Discovery Phase

Having an effective website starts with learning more about your company, industry and goals.

  • Needs assessment – short & long-term objectives plus internal and external influences.
  • Research – this includes competitor and industry as well as analytics about user behavior within your existing website.
  • Site goals review – what actions do you want the visitor to take?
  • Sitemap creation – here we identify all pages and establish the hierarchy; keeping, removing, adding or moving pages to best serve your goals.

Content & SEO

What different elements of content are required within a site and how do we make sure the website is ranked highly by key search engines?

  • Content review – whether you are a new business or a long-established one, we want to ensure that your site has consistent content that tells yours story.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) audit – we produce a snapshot of where your site ranks in the main search engines, such as Google, to use as a baseline for the new site’s performance.

Web Design Phase

This is when our design team gets busy with pulling together everything we have learned about your company, goals, desires and expectations and crafts a vision of your new online platform.

  • Hosting Setup: if you require it, we can walk you through the process of securing hosting based on your expected needs.
  • Installation of CMS: together, we will decide which content management system best suits your needs: WordPress, Expression Engine, Drupal, etc.
  • Installation of any 3rd party tools: depending upon your needs, we will integrate your CRM, email provider, social media, etc.
  • Content Migration: using some of your existing content, we will set up sample pages & posts so you can review the site with real content.

Review & Launch

At this stage we will invite you to review the demo website to review the layout, style, navigation & functionality.  We allow for two sets of fundamental revisions before settling on a final design. Once we are both satisfied, we:

  • Complete Content Migration: we move over all of your existing content to the new website.
  • Run a Final SEO Check: we make sure everything is set up to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
  • Launch & Monitor: once we go live with the new site, we will keep an eye on things for a week to make sure nothing goes sideways.

Onboarding & Training

Included in the price of your package are a few training sessions on how to maintain and update your website. It is important to us that you do not feel obligated to hire us every time you want to make simple update or change to your website, so we provide some basic education on how to use your website and perform routine maintenance.

We will be here if you need us for larger revisions or more substantial audits and updates, but you won’t need to call on us every time you want to post a blog or swap out a photo.
